Memorial Weekend

We love spending Memorial Day at Delta. This year was a little different because Mother Nature still doesn't think that it is summer. The water was ice cold but that didn't stop all the kids from riding the tube and poor Bryce from going down the slide. I say poor Bryce because I don't think he knew what he was getting in to. He said down and I didn't believe him so I kept saying "do it" and sure enough he went down. The look on his face when he hit the water was priceless. He wanted to cry but was too cold to cry. Well, I guess it wasn't that bad because he went a second time.

Thankfully Bowzer is a Delta dog. I was so worried that he would run off or fight with the other dogs but he was a natural camper. He thought Braiden's tent was the best thing ever. Braid had to leave a little hole in the door so Bowzer could go in whenever he wanted. A little doggy door in the tent. I would panick a little when I couldn't find him and I would go right to the tent and he was out cold (usually on Braid's pillow) He is such a good dog!

How cute is this little guy. He was so tired and so ready for his nap but when I took him in the trailer he would just play. He was sitting on the swing with Kaylee and Cori and next thing I knew he was like this.....sound asleep.

Yay for Delta! We are so grateful that Jodi and Brad are so nice to let us treat their property like it is ours. We love this place!

My little graduate!

Ms. Marla. The best teacher ever. This lady has patience!

Each kid got to stand up and Ms. Marla said what they wanted to be when they grew up. There were a whole lot of Mom's, princess and super hero's. Bryce said he wanted to be a dad. He tells me all the time he wants to be just like his Daddy.

The whole group (tues, wed, thurs and fri a.m. and p.m.) classes with their caps and diplomas.

Singing the duck song with their duck hats.

Singing the monkey song. They all had to hang their monkey's around their necks for the song. Don't worry, when the curtain opened Bryce was the only one who's monkey was hanging wrong. The arms hook around their necks and velcro and Bryce had his hooked by one arm and one leg. That is Bryce....a little special!

The dinosaur poem

Bringing home a baby bumble bee song.
This graduation was AMAZING! She went all out. Bryce started when he was 3 years old so he gets to do a second year of pre-school and we will be coming back to Pre-School Paradise for sure! She had this huge stage set up in her backyard with curtains that closed so they could change hats. It was so cute to see their little faces when the curtain opened. They wore all these different masks and hats for each song and got to take them all home with them. This teacher is amazing and sent these kids home with so many memories. She made them scrapbooks with their work and progress. So pleased with this class!

Mother's Day

My Mother's Day was pretty uneventful. My Mom is out of town (cruising Alaska with Jo and Brad) and we are celebrating tomorrow night with Tim's Mom. So, today was pretty much another day of being a Mom for me. While eating dinner and playing on Facebook one of my friends posted a "getting to know your Mom". You ask them a couple questions and they answer them about you. I decided to have Bryce do it and then made Braiden. It was cute to hear the answers.

Bryce:
My Mom looks prettiest when - She wears pretty clothes
My Mom's favorite food - Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches
She is happy when - her kids are being good
If my Mom could go anywhere she would go - to the Sand Dunes
Her job is - at MOPS

Braiden:
My Mom looks prettiest when - She is happy
My Mom's favorite food is - Peanut Butter and Jelly sanwhiches
She is happy when - She is scrapbooking
If my Mom could go anywhere she would go - to Hawaii
Her job is - being a Mom

I love these answers! Clearly, I eat way too many peanut butter and jelly sandwiches! I also realized I need to try harder to be happy. I love that my 14 yr old says I am prettiest when I am happy. That is my new goal!
