Petting Zoo (kind of)

Today at Aunt Lisa's school they had one of the parents bring out a little petting zoo. It wasn't much but the kids loved it and they had some adorable animals. They had a baby camel, baby lama, baby donkey and some ducks. The best part was that the kids could go right up next to the animals. When is the next time Bryce will be able to go up to a 6 month old baby camel?

This is what happens when you marry someone who doesn't know how to sit still. Tim is working 14 hour days and then coming home and working on this mess. We decided to replace every single piece of concrete that we have and man it is a huge project. Thankfully, it is one of those projects that is going to be SO worth it when it is all finished.

Well, since the concrete is all torn up we mine as well replace the sundeck right? I swear it is one project after another around this house. It is going to be so nice when it is all finished. The deck is coming along quickly and is going to be so nice to sit out there and enjoy the weather.

Bryce likes to go out and get nightly updates on the deck. It makes me so nervous to have him sitting out there but he thinks it is cool to see what Daddy and Grandpa are making.

This....is what happens when you leave a 2 year old (that thinks it is SO cool to take off his diaper) and a 13 year old alone in the house. I stepped outside to check on Tim and see how things were coming along and get a few pics of the damage and look up to see this. What a couple of clowns. Bryce was giggling so hard and saying "see my bum". Can you believe I am going to have ANOTHER boy. I am going to be in huge trouble!

Delta - Labor Day Weekend

Braiden was such a sport to take Bryce on the tube. When Bryce is on the tube it doesn't go as crazy as Braiden usually likes but I think he still had fun. Bryce kept sliding down inside the tube and we couldn't even see him in there. Bryce also skied with Uncle Brad for the first time this year. I think he tried it because he had just watched Brighton do it but he said he had fun ( I didn't have my camera but thank goodness Aunt Leslie had hers and got some pics.) Later that night I asked him if he had fun and he said "no because I got wet" I had to explain to him that happens sometimes when you ski but that it was okay because he had on a life jacket and he replied with "yah but my eye didn't have on a life jacket." He was more upset that he got water in his eye.

The kids spent some time hunting for frogs and Tim helped Bryce get a big one. As you can tell from the first picture Bryce enjoyed looking at them in the bucket more than holding them. The next day when Bryce woke up he told Tim that a frog came in his room in the middle of the night and had a huge cold tummy. Poor guy was dreaming about the huge frog that they caught.

While we were sitting around at night I looked over on the trampoline (which was also Braiden and Alex's bed) and I saw Braiden and Grandpa just laying together and talking. I thought it was so cute to see them just laying there talking so I got up to take a picture and next thing I knew Brad joined them and then Alex joined them and then I decided to take an all boys picture. L to R Uncle Tim, Riley, Alex, Braiden, Bryce, Grandpa, Brad and Tim.

Braiden took Bryce out on the tube to float around and it was so cute to watch them out there just hanging out. Braiden doesn't look like he is having that much fun but I think he enjoyed it.
We have so much fun hanging out at Delta and love that Jo and Brad let us come down and put up with our kids behind the boat non-stop. Thanks guys!
