St. Patty's Swim

This year while at the Rec Center I saw a sign for a St. Patrick's Day swim party. It sounded fun and was something we have never done before. I don't think it really worked like they thought it was going to but the boys loved it  They dyed the water green and put gold coins all over in the pool. The kids got to dive for the gold coins and then turn them in for a prize. Both boys got a little beach ball and spent the rest of the time playing with the balls. After that they turned Shrek on a huge blow up screen and the kids got to swim while watching Shrek.

The Chik Fil A cow came and they announced that they were going to hand out chicken sandwiches. We ran over to get in line and Weston informed Amie that he had to use the restroom (right then) I tried to get a sandwich for them but was told you had to be present to get one. So, we all split them and the kids were fine with that. They LOVED the chicken sandwiches!

Today we all met over at Daybreak Park (by Leslie's house) to celebrate Brianna's birthday. This was the perfect place to celebrate because there were tables right next to a playground with a HUGE sandbox and right next to that was a basketball court. Everyone has something fun to do.
