Peeker

This little boy is such a crack up. He figured out yesterday that he could peak through the fence while the neighbors were back there working and watch them. It was so funny. He found the biggest hole and then sat there yelling "hi".

3rd Year Anniversary

Wow, I cannot beleive it has been 3 years already! It seems like I was just planning my wedding yesterday.
We had a super fun anniversary this year, we spent it in a hotel that looked like a cabin and had a very rustin cabin atmosphere. It was the Daniel Summit Lodge right outside of Heber and it was amazing. On Saturday we rented a Jeep Wrangler and spent the day 4-wheeling up the Daniel Summit Loop and along the Strawberry Ridge. It was so much fun and the scenery was beautiful. Can't wait for the next anniversary so we can have another amazing weekend!

This is the beautiful view of Strawberry Reservoir from the trail we were on

I wanted to see some critters so bad and we did see two deer ( they run too fast for me to take pics of ) but I expected to see more and on our way down the trail we ran into the world's biggest cow and we chased her down the trail. I thought it was pretty funny that was the wildlife we saw.

Pre-school

My sister has invited me to join a program with her called MOPS (stands for Mothers of Pre-school Students) on Thursday's and since I no longer work on Thursday's I was finally able to join with her. I am so excited to be able to do this with her! I get to go and visit with other adults and listen to speakers and other fun activities while Bryce gets to go into the pre-school class room. Today was his first day and I couldn't get him out of there. I said "c'mon buddy it's time to go home" and he said "NO!" What a fun thing for Bryce to go and play with other kids for a couple hours a week. THANKS AUNT LESLIE!!!!

Thumbs up!

We just went to go and pick Braiden up from school and while getting Bryce in his carseat he gave me a thumbs up and started giggling. I have never seen him do this before so when we got home I said "show brother thumbs up." He gave Braiden both thumbs up and then did it again for the picture. Way cute!

Tumbling Class

Bryce started tumbling (or as Tim asked us to call it "gymnastics") today and it was so much fun. The age limit for the tumbling class is 18 months and Bryce just turned 16 months so we fibbed and said we were 18 months because I knew Bryce would be able to do anything the other kids were doing. Sure enough, Bryce jumped right in and did his tumbing. He did really good until the last 10 minutes of class when the teacher brought out some basketballs to play with and that was the end of tumbling. The only thing Bryce wanted to do was bounce the ball. When we left he started crying "mine ball".

Suprisingly with as clumsy as Bryce is (and with the size of his head) he did great on the beam. He loved this part and thought he was such a big boy!

Bowling

On Monday the kids were all out of school for Labor Day and Tim was home from work and we were bored. We called Sheila and Mike to see if they wanted to go bowling and they were game. We were getting ready to leave and my sister called bored and wanted to know if we wanted to go bowling....so, we all met at the bowling alley (we had quite the group) and had a great time bowling!

Yep, Bryce bowled a strike!

I am pretty sure he got that bowling form from his Mom

Bryce would push the ball down the ramp and then just sit there and watch until his ball got down and hit the pins. Sometimes it was a pretty long wait.

Two Binks

As if one binky wasn't enough! Bryce thinks it is really funny to walk around with 2 binkys in his mouth. We just sit and laugh at him and he thinks he is so funny!

Nürburgring, in Nürburg Germany

Tim has been going to Germany (what seems like once a month) for work and really enjoys the cars and the race tracks over there. This last time he went over he got to go around a track in a Porsche. I think this is and will be the highlight of the year for Tim. What an awesome experience!

Nürburgring, in Nürburg Germany.

GT2 Race Porsche that competes in the 24hour races. 170 mph in the ¼ mile
straightaway and 65 mph through the hairpin corners.

And yes they had a helmet that fit.

Middle School

We are just finishing our second week of Middle School and so far so good. The first week was great. Braiden came home so excited with all the friends he was meeting and of course how much better school lunch is in middle school. The second week has been a little different, he is realizing that it is still school. He is starting to get lots of homework and I think the excitment is leaving him pretty quickly.

He is 13 months and thinks he
can eat with a fork.

It's that time of year again

We are back to having football every night and games on Saturday. Thankfully this week we drop down to practice 3 nights a week and games on Saturday. That is alot better with school starting. We started playing for Bingham this year and so far so good. Braiden loves his team and loves his coach and so far loves winning! We played Brighton on Saturday and won 34 - 6. It feels good to finally win a game!
