The Perfect Pumpkin!

Carving our pumpkins
We had alot of fun carving pumpkins this year. Braiden couldn't decide what to carve on his and then he decided to carve a 72 which his his football number. I thought that was a neat idea. I carved a smiley face and of course Tim carved a face with a big mouth and saved some guts from his pumpkin to put outside the mouth to make it look like it was throwing up. That is Tim for ya! Bryce had alot of fun coloring on his pumpkin. We gave him a marker and let him color all over it and as soon as he thought is was good he colored on mine, Braids and Tim's pumpkin too. He just kept looking inside my pumpkin and saying "eeewww".

Pumpkin Patch
We had so much fun going to pick the perfect pumpkin. When we got there Bryce just kept pointing and saying "whoa poompkin". We all picked out what we thought was the perfect pumpkin and then headed home to carve them.

Trunk or Treat

We decided to go down to the West Jordan Park for a Halloween Trunk or Treat with my friend Amie and she ended up running a little late so me and Bryce got to hang our together for some fun Halloween activities. When we got there they were doing a Halloween magic show which only held Bryce's attention for a few minutes and then he got a balloon sword from a clown (which he LOVED) and then he walked in a costume parade in front of everyone which he wasn't even sure why everyone was looking at him but it was cute. My friend Amie got there in time to Trunk or Treat and the kids loved it. Bryce would say "treat" and as soon as they put it in his pumpkin he would take it right back out and want to hold it. He was holding a piece of candy in each hand at all times. It was alot of fun but it is amazing how I always feel like I am missing someone when Braid isn't there. He went to a Halloween party with his football team (I am sure he had more fun there) but we sure missed having him with us!

Fall Leaves

Braiden is such a sport to rake up all the leaves so him and Byrce could play in them. Bryce didn't like to sit on the pile unless Braid was sitting right next to him. I have so much fun watching Braiden be a big brother. He is such a good brother.

Costume Preview

We enjoyed the witches at Gardner Village so much that we went back down to see them but this time we put Bryce in his costume. He wasn't as scared of the witches since he thought he was so scary in his dragon costume.

The Witches

We decided to go down to Gardner Village today to see the witches and I was excited that Braiden would be able to go because he is out of school for Fall Break. Well, I guess everyone in the valley had the same idea as us. The place was so crowded but we had a great time. Amie, Quinn, Weston, Emily, Taylor and baby Abbie met us down there. Bryce wasn't to fond of the witches. The first one he walked up to her excited to see her and then ran backwards saying "scary" but by the time we were done he would wave to them and say "bye bye ditches".

After walking around looking at the witches we headed over to the Petting Zoo and Bryce got to ride the "neighs". He won't let us call them horses, we have to call them "neighs". We had a great time and Bryce had more fun picking up the bark and throwing it in the water.

Look what we learned to do!

I know, inappropriate.....but pretty funny. Bryce just learned how to pick his nose and it had me and Braid laughing pretty hard. Later that night I told him to show Daddy how he can pick his nose and he did it and then ran over and wiped it on Tim. Yah, we didn't teach him to wipe it on things. We all got a pretty good laugh.

So our last week was pretty uneventful. Last Saturday (the 20th) I begged Brianna to come and watch Bryce at Braiden's football game since Tim was going to be out of town and it is REALLY hard to watch a game and Bryce at the same time. We played Jordan (our old team) and walked away with a 48-0 win. Pretty sad since it was our old team but sure feels good to win. Then we headed to Hogle Zoo for Tim's work party (minus Tim) and had a great time. Then Sunday we headed to Sizzler for dinner with Lisa, her kids and Great Grandma Jones. Always love the Sizzler salad bar! The next week was pretty slow, standard Mon, Wed and Fri night football practice and tumbling on Wed morning for Byrce. Tim got home late Friday night from Germany and we started early morning Saturday with football. We played East and walked away from a very close game 26-23 our win. We are now 5-0 and love playing for Bingham

This is our other big thing that we have learned how to do....we peak under the bathroom door and say "hi" to whoever is in there. It is so cute when you are in there. Did I say cute? I mean a little annoying.
